Information and examples to help you achieve ultimate whole person health.

The Body

Therapeutic Yoga Poses

Traditional yoga postures are adapted to fit your specific needs and/or health condition. This technique works on the physical body to gain strength and mobility, increase balance, release tension and reduce pain.

Breathing Techniques

The way we breathe effects our entire body. Breathing practices can be used alone or in conjunction with additional techniques to strengthen and stretch the body and lungs, reduce pain, and calm the nervous system.

Trigger Point Therapy

A trigger point is a tight spot deep within muscle tissue that causes pain in other parts of the body. The pain may range from sharp and intense to a dull ache. Trigger Point Therapy uses therapy balls and/or rollers to release these constricted areas and reduce pain.

The Mind

Intention setting, Affirmation, Self-inquiry

This is a great place to start your healing journey. Intentions, affirmations, and self- inquire stimulate and support the body’s healing system by instilling commitment and giving you a target to fly towards.

Visualization

Believe it or not but our subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between what you imagine and what is real. If you put something into your mind, your subconscious mind will believe it. Vividly imagining positive experiences, directly or symbolically, can effectively help you make the desired changes in your life.

Guided Relaxation/Meditation/Mindfulness

A powerful tool to manage chronic pain and stress, enhance personal growth and connection, strengthen the immune system, and promote creativity and mental clarity.

Sound Healing Therapy

This ancient practice uses the frequency of sound (voice, mantra, melody) to help ease us into a state of relaxation and restoration. Using different forms of sound help us improve vagal tone and lung strength, promote confidence in voicing our opinion and speaking our truth. Using this therapy to promote resonance frequency breathing has been shown to reduce blood pressure and improve symptoms of panic disorder, anxiety and depression. It is also very beneficial for asthma, COPD, and fibromyalgia.
