LA Yoga Expo

Yoga Expo is a one-day event that brings together the local yoga community and offers a wide array of 50-minute classes for beginners, advanced yogis, kids, and anyone in between. The schedule is packed with both local and national teachers and the marketplace will be filled with yoga apparel, accessories, vegan food & beverages, and other brands and organizations. Come for the good vibes and get a taste of ROOT’s services when you visit our booth located near the sound healing stage!

Changing Our Habits to Heal in the New Year

Habits – good and bad – govern our lives because they are hardwired into our brains. As the end of the year approaches, we start thinking more and more about changing some of our less desirable habits, usually in the form of the favorite New Year’s resolution. We set “go big or go home” manifestos around extremes like jumping into a 5-day-a-week exercise regime or completely cutting out carbs. Given their drastic nature, it’s no surprise that these changes prove hard to sustain and that we beat ourselves up when we’re unable to commit.  How can we take a step back and identify the right habits to change in a way that will really stick?
